About us

At Prospera Youth, we believe that financial education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and creating lasting change. Our mission is to empower youth and young adults in third-world countries with the knowledge and skills they need to make smart financial decisions, build wealth, and secure a brighter future for themselves, their families, and their communities.

After learning personal finance through personal experience, professional development, and my education at Brigham Young University, I realized that these essential principles weren’t being taught to the people who needed them most. I decided to change that.

I believe every child, teenager, and young adult deserves access to quality financial education—regardless of their background or field of study. Understanding how to manage money, protect assets, and make money work for them, rather than the other way around, is a fundamental right.

Latin American youth face unique social, political, and economic challenges that often make financial freedom seem out of reach. That’s why we designed a program that not only teaches the basics of personal finance but also addresses the specific obstacles young people in these communities encounter.

I believe that by equipping the next generation with financial literacy, we are helping them break barriers, build independence, and create opportunities for a better future. At Prospera Youth, we don’t just teach finance—we teach empowerment.
